Overview
If you are managing large organizations or need to separate certain subsections into their own tenants, use the Managed Tenants function. Managed tenants appear as completely separate organizations to end users, ensuring isolation from other tenants, and enabling for the tenant to be managed by an approved partner.
How to create a managed tenant
Only tenant admins can create managed tenants.
- Navigate to Settings โ Managed Tenants
- Click on the Create tenant button
- Name the tenant by providing a unique name
- Select the country for the tenant
- Select Data residency to ensure compliance with regional laws on user privacy and data retention
- Optionally, restrict user roles to users with valid organization or company emails as a security measure
- Pick timezone
- Pick billing type: partner invoice or other payment options
- Enter optional VAT ID
- Enter an email contact for billing-related quesitons
- Fill in the necessary billing details
- Click the OK button


Important considerations
- Managed tenants are isolated from other tenants
- Users in a managed tenant cannot access resources in other tenants
